 New Leaders Council (NLC) Institute is an intensive, five-month progressive entrepreneurship training program. It is the premier leadership and professional development, training, mentoring, networking, and career and political advancement program for young professionals.
NLC Detroit is currently seeking to select 15-20 emerging leaders for the 2017 NLC Cohort. NLC Fellows are successful in their industries, risk-takers, and progressive advocates. Fellows have to commit to one weekend per month for five months in which each Fellow, along with 15-20 of their peers, participates in training on topics ranging from messaging to finance to political management. After the 2016 NLC Fellows class, NLC’s diverse community boasts more that 4,000 alumni and volunteers training the next generation of progressive leaders and using the skills from the NLC Institute to impact their communities.
