TVI Logistics and Axel Cooley recently received the honorable invitation from the Government of Korea to visit the remarkable nation to specifically meet with Korean automotive suppliers.  The line up of diligent companies in Goyang was impressive and extremely well-organized. The TVI Logistics team was delighted to teach suppliers how to facilitate logistics between US and Korea, while reducing total landed costs. TVI was grateful to make great business connections and very pleased to serve as a helpful resource to Korean auto suppliers to facilitate imports and exports through the use of TVI Logistics' Public Foreign Trade Zone (FTZ) located in Michigan. This woman/veteran/minority-owned FTZ can facilitate logistic transactions for Korean companies doing business in USA. Its special certifications and services including re-packaging, distribution and assembly services can also certainly prove useful to Korean auto suppliers entering the US market.
In Seoul, TVI Logistics and Axel Cooley had the honor of attending a special exhibition of automotive parts and accessories suppliers with over 500 exhibitors from 20+ nations. TVI also had the opportunity to make an appearance at several automotive events to learn about the Korean automotive sector. In addition, TVI Logistics and Axel Cooley were present to witness an Autonomous Vehicle presentation where Koreans highlighted strategic alliances and explained what the government is doing to designate demonstration zones for autonomous cars, as well as a VIP luncheon with top automotive executives and auto parts players.It was a certainly a successful, non-stop business trip.  The Detroit Chapter of Washington, D.C.-based New Leaders Council (NLC) is hosting an inspiring information session this upcoming Friday to recruit potential candidates from the Metro Detroit area for its 2018 NLC Institute, considered the nation's top political entrepreneurship training program.

Today we are occupied by Axel Cooley , young, interesting and enterprising woman with a varied and very different trajectory ... which proves the fact that every woman is so special and unique! Axel Cooley is a proud daughter of Nicaraguan parents. He grew up in Kitchener-Waterloo in Canada where he is known as the Canadian Technology Triangle. Faced with the difficult situation faced by their parents in Nicaragua by the war, they sought better opportunities for their children. The best example that Axel and his sisters learned from their parents was to have no limits, to be proud of who they are and to love their culture and their people. And of course as Axel himself has managed to face life without fears. Axel Cooley excelled in his university studies at Wilfrid Laurier University where he excelled among the most outstanding students, earning Honors in his BBA degree. He is impressive the dedication within his race, focused for a long time in the empowerment of individuals and to the aid of advanced communities around the world. How? She affirms it: through wisdom, which is the most powerful gift that the human being has received. For ten years, Axel served as Press Officer and Media Director, where she oversaw press departments in 30 nations and collaborated with global outreach programs to teach individuals about their self-esteem, where she defines her prosperity in the mind. In this role, Axel has been blessed with the opportunity to travel to 20 countries conducting press conferences, documentaries, exclusive interviews, collaborating with the world's top media companies. Stand proud of your Hispanic culture, we are loyal, family oriented and highly educated individuals with a great enthusiasm for life. My advice is to realize your skills to be great leaders in your industry, no matter what, a true leader encourages other leaders. A good leader has a clear vision, is brave, has integrity, honesty and humility ... characteristics that we Hispanics have been taught.  WARREN, MICHIGAN - When companies need to move products from overseas, they count on Technology Ventures Inc. in Warren, Michigan. The company, operating as TVI Logistics, provides order fulfillment, light assembly, packaging, global distribution and freight management services. TVI Logistics is a public Foreign Trade Zone, giving it the flexibility to bring in a variety of commodities at reduced costs.

This area has a busy hub for the Defense industry with easy access to I–75, I–696 and I–96. As a Foreign Trade Zone, it can defer, minimize or eliminate customs duties and taxes based on operations performed in the zone. By storing imported goods in the zone, for example, duties and taxes can be deferred since they are not due until the goods leave the zone and enter US commerce. “Foreign Trade Zones were created in the 1930s to offset the effects of tariffs and keep assembly jobs in the United States,” said Axel Cooley, Director at TVI Logistics. “While it sounds like a service strictly for large corporations, any size business could benefit from a public Foreign Trade Zone if the import goods from another country,” Cooley said. For example, Cooley said, a small design firm could have a client who ordered a one-of-a-kind chandelier from Italy. The chandelier is shipped to TVI and inspected when it arrives to determine if there is a manufacturing defect. Since the inspection is done inside the foreign trade zone, the product can be sent back to the country of origin before duty fees are collected, does eliminating the need for a second duty charge when a new one is sent. "Top designers work with us from all over the nation, "said Cooley. However, Foreign Trade Zone often involves more than just moving goods into the country. By assembling individual components in the zone to create finished goods, companies can see substantial savings. "Logistics applies to everyb ody regardless of industry," said Cooley. There are real cost savings with the logistics side and TVI can help with that. TVI President Constance Blair started the company in 1992 using her military experience in logistics at the Pentagon to help customers in Michigan.
