New Leaders Council seeks Detroit talent for 2018 Cohort

The Detroit Chapter of Washington, D.C.-based New Leaders Council (NLC) is hosting an inspiring information session this upcoming Friday to recruit potential candidates from the Metro Detroit area for its 2018 NLC Institute, considered the nation's top political entrepreneurship training program.

This special event entitled "2018 NLC Detroit Cohort Recruiting Season Kickoff" is a classy Mixer to be held at  7:30 pm @ The Annex, 24 Adams Ave. in Detroit.

The general public is welcomed to attend to learn about the application process. NLC Detroit will select the top 20 emerging leaders to participate in the upcoming five-month political entrepreneurial development program at no charge. It begins in January.

NLC is a 501(c)(3) organization that recruits, trains and promotes future progressive political entrepreneurs. Already, NLC is in 45 cities, including Detroit, and quickly expanding. With more than 4,000 alumni since 2013, NLC is creating a network of individuals working together across sectors to improve the progressive infrastructure and ensure strong democracy, social justice and equal opportunity. Its mission is to train more than 10,000 leaders by 2020.
