Women in Defense Michigan Hosts Human Trafficking Panel Discussion

I am honored to serve as an Advisor on the Women in Defense Michigan Chapter and I personally invite you join us on May 9th for an important panel discussion on Human Trafficking. You will learn how to spot victims of this atrocious crime and what the community can do to help. 

Panelists will address the issues surrounding human trafficking pertaining to both the Defense and National Security industries and, specifically, Michigan communities.  It has been reported that Human Trafficking is affecting every zip code in Michigan. In fact, last year, over 800 victims were identified in the city of Detroit alone.

Leaders and experts will answer critical questions surrounding this topic, such as:

• How does our judicial system factor into combating this devastating crime?
