Ms. Cooley’s major philanthropic endeavor has been helping victims of abuse. To this end, she led the Press Dept. for a global foundation conducting investigative reports around the world in multiple languages, working with governments, advocates, international courts, and interviewing victims, public figures and Subject Matter Experts. In fact, she was tasked with investigating some of the most challenging issues known to man. With a keen interest in current affairs, Axel also served as an investigative reporter for NG Radio where she handled LIVE newscasts and authored articles widely syndicated.
Reckoned as a leader in business and industry who will shape the future landscape of Detroit, Axel was elected into the Inaugural Class of the New Leaders Council - Detroit Chapter, and served as the Communication Chair for its Executive Board. She further serves as the Co-chair of Marketing for Automotive Women's Alliance Foundation (AWAF) and the Director of Communication of the Marine Foundation which gathers global leaders and the First Ladies from around the world to leverage their influence and advance humanity.
